KJSIEIT

Library

The KJSIEIT library is privileged to support the institute's march towards its vision and mission. Housed with a built-up area of approx.435 Sq Meters, it has the sitting capacity of 110 users and consists a collection of about 8500 learning Resources covering the core fields of interest in engineering and related subjects like Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Mechanical, Electrical and Mathematical Sciences etc. The Library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of information resources that are useful for academic and research purposes. The library has a good collection of Project reports, besides these, there are books of Social Sciences, general interest and references and it has a separate collection of CD-ROMs and audiovisual material. The library receives about 40 Periodicals of Professional and general interest. The KJSIEIT Library is in the process of computerization for managing the Library and availing the Web-OPAC facility.

Library Timing

The library is open for its members from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on all working days.


Reference Service

Reference Section consists a good collection of Reference Materials such as Technical Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, and Text books. Each copy of the text books is available in the reference section for the purpose of consultation within the library.


Referral Service

The Library Staff helps to identify the Resources and their availability in other libraries.


Location of Library

The library of the college is located on the first floor of the college building. It covers an area of 435 sq.mts, with open access system.
