3 Years Part-Time Masters
Degrees Programme
To upgrade the knowledge and managerial skills of the working managers, the Institute started three year part time Masters Degree Programme affiliated to the University of Bombay in 1994.
Programme Objectives
The part-time Master's Degree programmes are designed with the clear objective of enabling young and promising executives with above average academic attainment coupled with practical experience to pursue advanced study in their chosen area of specialisation a sto improve upon the current practices. In keeping with this objectives, the programmes lay considerable emphasis on the development of theory in the area of specialisation concerned and its potential for practical application with particular reference to indian environment. These programmes are need based and meant only for working executive. As the programmes seek to maintain a high level of participation, they are recommended only to nature person with relevant experience in operattions and a high degree of achievement motivation.
Programme-wise Objectives
Master Degree in Financial Management (MFM) The Programme Covers all the related areas of Finance and Accounting with emphasis on managerial applciation. Candidates having experience in Finance or related aras of finance such as management services, project planning and control, corporate planning, management audit, internal aduit, marketing analysis and economic analysis will find this programme useful.
Master's Degree in Marketing Management (MMM) The programme covers all the related areas of marketing including public sector marketing. It seeks to develop and integrated top management perspective which is necessary for marketing executive to move into top level general management positions. Candidates seeking admission to this programme must have practical experience in any of the following related areas : Marketing planning, Sales management, Marketing research, Distribution, Public relations, Advertising, Export Marketing and Applied economics.
Master's Degree in Administrative Management (NAM) The objective of this programme is to prepare Executives for top level Administrative positions in public or private sector organizations. The emphasis will therefore, be on developing a proper role perception of administrators in the Indian context by exposing them to a wide range of relevant areas, sufficiently in depth so that they may gain the confidence necessary to interact with functional specialists and develop the administrative skills for translatign policies into action effectively. Candidates having executive experience in government establishments, public. private,or co-operative sector organisations will find this programme useful.

As the screening will be done on the basis of the above information, candidates in their own interest are advised to submit full details of academic qualifications and work experience, suitable selection programme will be used to assess the candidates Maturity and Capacity to participate in the programme effectively. Every candidate seeking admission to any of the part-time Master's Degree Programme must submit his/her application before the last date and go through the selection process on the dates prescribed by the Institute i.e., no candidate will be permitted to join the Master's Degree programme unless he/she submits the application in time and goes through the selection process successfully.
