Senior Scholar Seminar Series
The Art of Teaching Series is a prestigious program launched by the institution in 1998. The main aim of the program is to acquaint our students with the teaching styles of the expert teacher educators
working in different B.Ed colleges. Experts who have been called to deliver lectures have given their expertise on topics like ‘Action Research in Education’, ‘Models of Teaching’, etc.
“Teaching with Charisma”is an in house faculty improvement program, which involves a series of lectures on
on a variety of themes which are interdisciplinary in nature and on the subjects offering orientation in techniques of curriculum transaction and management of instruction.
The college launched one of its prestigious program viz-Senior Scholar Seminar Series in 1990-1991 under the leadership of the founder Principal Dr. M. N. Deshmukh
to provide an opportunity to students and the faculty to interact with the senior scholars in the country and aboard, to acquaint them with modern trends in the education and latest academic developments.
This series was launched with the first two seminars presented by Late Prof. M. B. Buch, Former Head, CASE, Baroda and Late Prof. M. Verma, former Vice Chancellor, Gorakhpur University, on March 18- 19, 1991.
It was followed by seminars of Prof. M. K. Raina Sr. Fellow, ICSSR and Late Shri Ramlaljibhai Parikh, President, AIAOU, New Delhi 1992. Ever since then, the college has always ensured that eminent scholars in the field of education are invited for SSSS.
The college has been recognized as a Study Center for all programs of IGNOU such as bachelor’s degree programs, management programs
and several of their certificate and diploma programs. The study center started functioning from September 1993.At present the study centre is activated for 62 courses.

The college has been recognized as the Study Center for under-graduate and postgraduate programs of the YCMOU.
The first batch completed the B.Ed. Program in 1992-1994.At present the college is B. A./ B.Com Courses.
The study materials from YCMOU are also made available for our Marathi medium students.
