Orientation to new Students:
In the very first week of the academic year an orientation programme is conducted for the benefit of the new students. The orientation programme covers the usage of all three sections of the library In addition the library staff are always available to deal with particular requests for locating a specific book or reporter and so on. Orientation to new students are given with the help of computer presentations
Photocopying facility
The library provides on the spot photocopies of articles, from printed Indian periodicals available in its collection, at a nominal rate of Rs. 60.00 per page
Inter Library loan
The library issues out its publications to the users of other libraries in the campus and Mumbai through inter library loan service. Similarly, KJSCCETR gets the publications on inter library loan from other libraries in Mumbai for its members
Internet Facility Two computers are installed in the library along with the internet connection.
Referral Service
Sometimes it so happens that certain books required or material regarding a certain topic is not available in the library, in such cases our library also provides referral services to the students. That is, students are referred to other libraries which specialize in the required topic and can help them by providing the required material.
Book Bank Facility
Book Bank scheme is a scheme wherein the students are provided with a set of books required by them for the academic year.
Display of new arrivals in the library
New books acquired in the library, after being processed is displayed on the stands. This informs the students and the staff about the new arrivals in the library. If the student or the staff requires any book the same is issued to them.
