Kalabhavan (Vocational Training Institute for Women) Since the inception of the Adhyapan Mandir (Junior College of Education) essentially for women, another related activity was initiated for grown up girls. This led to the setting up of Kalabhavan, a centre where girls would be given handicraft training, and get familiar with new methods of work ethics as well as develop manual skills. The most popular course at this institute is what is termed as ''TCWCG'', i.e. Tailoring Certificate in Women's and Children's Garments.
