From  France to Kutch, innovators showed their out of the box thinking to tens of thousands who flocked to the exhibition.  Decorated handmade candles  sat prettily near a  10th standard  student who shocased his idea of a glove that acts as a phone- this amazingly the yong boy from Delhi made especially for the blind.

The Mumbaikar’s favourite Pani Puri became spicier when the Pani Puri vending team added their engineering talent, while the denim bag which could carry the entire food rations while serving also as a bedroll, made many  think of the next camping holiday

Innovations and artists go to gether – so from skilling the humble nadas to make exotic bags to bags made using banana threads, that’s right threads made from banana tree – the Maker Mela 2017 was an explosion of ideas. To add to the excitement was the sessions by eminent speakers including Mr. Sonam Wangchuk, Myshkin Ingawale, Head, Facebook Innovation Team, India, Shaina NC, Designer, Social Worker, Pravin Nikam, Social Activist, Global Shaper and Environmentalist and Sahil Vaidya, Founder and CEO, The Minimalist.
