Somaiya Sports Academy’s Sharvil Adkar Shines with 5-Wicket Over in USA Trials

We are very happy to share the amazing achievement of Sharvil Adkar, a young and hardworking cricketer who is representing the USA and training in the Advanced Batch (2024–25) at Somaiya Sports Academy.

Sharvil has been training under the guidance of Dinesh Lad sir, and also did a special 30-day training session with Coach Mr Nitin Barhate in December 2024 and January 2025 to improve his game.

All his hard work showed great results during the USA West Zone selections. Out of five leg-spinners, each got just one over to prove themselves. Sharvil made the most of it, taking an unbelievable 5 wickets in just 1 over.

It's a proud moment for Somaiya Sports Academy to witness one of our own shining brightly on an international platform.
