Dean
Dr. Neetin Desai completed his M.Sc Ph.D from Shivaji University Kolhapur. He was a National Fellow at BARC, where he worked on Edible Vaccines. He has completed postdoctoral studies in Korea, Singapore, and Denmark, focusing on Regenerative Medicine and Essential Fatty Acids. With 30 years of teaching and research experience in Biotechnology, he has authored 130 research papers, holds 6 patents, and has deposited 190 gene sequences and 160 protein sequences.
He has supervised 11 Ph.D. and 3 postdoctoral students in his previous labs. Previously, he has served as Dean and Director. He has also nurtured 7 startups in areas like Cord Blood Bank, Regenerative Medicine, Agribiotech, and Nutraceuticals. Dr. Desai is an elected Fellow of the Maharashtra Academy of Sciences, Royal Society of Biologists (UK), and the Asian Federation of Biotechnologists (South Korea).
