Department of Statistics and Department of Computer Science of K. J. Somaiya college of Science and Commerce, Vidyavihar, wish to organize jointly two-days workshop (on Friday 10th August and Saturday 11th August 2018) on “Introduction to Python programming and R-tool forStatistical computing” under STAR DBT grant.

Python is a high-level, interpreted and general-purpose dynamic programming language that focuses on code readability. The syntax in Python helps the programmers to do coding in fewer steps as compared to other languages. The Python is widely used in bigger organizations because of it’s wide applicability such as :
