Code of Conduct

In adherence to the University Grants Commission (UGC) Regulations 2019 and our steadfast commitment to fostering diversity and a discrimination-free environment, Somaiya Vidyavihar University has established a Code of Conduct Monitoring Committee. The main objective of this committee is to ensure adherence to ethical standards and maintain a conducive environment for learning and growth within the university community.

This committee will be responsible for undertaking various activities such as
  • Developing and implementing procedures to maintain discipline on campus.
  • Addressing grievances related to code of conduct violations.
  • Organizing awareness programs and workshops on ethical behaviour and anti- discrimination practices.
  • Recommending measures to promote inclusivity and respect for diversity within the university.
