A proud moment for Dr Shantilal K Somaiya School of Commerce & Business Studies as our students Mr. Navneet Mane and Mr. Manas Mishra have been selected for the RIIDL Pre-Incubation Program at Somaiya Vidyavihar University for their startup, PLATR.

The idea behind PLATR emerged from a real-world problem in India’s largely unorganised catering and food-service industry; inconsistent quality, fragmented vendor networks, and limited accountability between institutions and catering service providers.

What makes their journey particularly encouraging is that the idea has evolved through real operational experience, market research and continuous refinement. An initial conversation with Gaurang Shetty became the starting point for months of research and the development of a comprehensive business pitch, eventually leading to their selection for the Pre-Incubation Program.
