Somaiya athletes delivered an exceptional performance at the 73rd Maharashtra Seniors State Athletics Championship 2025, competing against some of the state's finest. 

Our athletes proudly secured five podium finishes across various disciplines.

Poorva Sawant leaped her way to gold in the Triple jump with a remarkable 12.70m, and Neha Varma earned silver in the Discus throw with a best attempt of 40.78m.

Pravin Gupta claimed silver in the Shot Put with a solid performance of 16.04m, and Vishal Rathod secured bronze in the Long jump with a leap of 6.83m, adding to the team’s medal tally. Swanandi Sawant clocked 1:05.48 seconds in the 400m Hurdles, earning a well-deserved bronze.

These results reflect the commitment, training, and resilience of our athletes and coaches. Congratulations to all the champions for making Somaiya proud on the state stage.
