The International Squash Day 2025 was celebrated with immense enthusiasm, joy, and sporting spirit under the collaboration of Somaiya Vidyavihar, Mumbai, Somaiya Sports Academy, Mumbai, and Somaiya Vidya Mandir, Laxmiwadi.

In the Men’s category, Mr Gaurav Dengale (Shri Sharda English Medium School, Kopargaon) emerged as the winner, followed by Mr Anil Telgat (Sakarwadi) as runner-up and Mr Chetan Sangule (Laxmiwadi) in third place.

Among the Women’s competitors, Mrs Pooja Bagul (Sakarwadi) claimed the top spot, with Mrs Savita Rahane (Laxmiwadi) and Mrs Renuka Pawar (Sakarwadi) finishing second and third respectively.

In the students’ categories, Aditya Thorat and Sayli Mane secured first place in the Boys’ and Girls’ events, while Rudra Galande and Shraddha Sable took the runner-up positions. Saish Gaikwad and Samruddhi Sable finished in third place.

The Somaiya community continues to nurture young talent and promote a passion for sports through such inspiring initiatives.
