We are looking for System Administrator for Somaiya Vidyavihar

Qualification Required: BE / B.Tecch, 

Experience Required:  5-7 yrs

Job Profile:

·         He will be managing existing Active Directory, VMware, Backup and Server Administration, by identifying potential issues and opportunities for optimization and improvement of day to day working. 

·         He will perform administration duties and responsibilities that involve analysis and evaluation of Server Infrastructure with primary knowledge requirements of information processing methodology, information technology and processing techniques.

·         He will be responsible for maintaining daily operation and problem resolution of Server Infrastructure.

·         He will develop and implement plans as a continuous process for the integration of Server Infrastructure its policies and security, will providing technical advice on new requirements.

·         He will maintain and monitor the availability and performance of critical systems that should be operational and accessible.

·         He will provide technical advice on Server Infrastructure and security; recommend best practice advice to SVV IT Team to successfully meet operational requirements.

·         He will ensure data availability for all classified Server Infrastructure by providing recommendations to the SVV IT Team.

·         He will provide user facilitation and familiarization for new designs implemented.

·         He will assist is resolving problems by troubleshooting with various OEM’s.

·         He will provide assistance by self or remote to all supported units in the area of configuration analysis and evaluation, automation of security operations, and Server Infrastructure operations. Assist in Server Infrastructure troubleshooting.

·         He will ensure connection to LAN/WAN comply and design/install/maintain networking system of Server Infrastructure. Monitors/reports network Vulnerability Alerts and information conditions to the SVV IT Team.

·         He will conduct periodic technical evaluations of the infra to verify proper interoperability and integration with current/future operating systems and networks.

·         He will prepare, maintain and execute all related task and duties in accordance with regulations to include the operation and execution, Plan of Action and Milestone or Technical Implementation Guide.
