Qualification:
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Management, Communication, Public Policy or a related field.
- At least 7-8 years of experience in Fund Raising, event management, Sales or stakeholder engagement preferably in the University education industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with MIS (Management Information Systems) tools. Exposure to CRM tools will be an advantage
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in alumni outreach and Alumni connect
- Familiarity with Fund Raising and Alumni Donations through Alumni Connect. Ability to market Various programs and initiatives from the Alumni Relations Department to Alumni and Stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in designing, planning monitoring and executing high-quality activities and events in collaboration with other institutions/associations.
- Ability to collaborate with external partners and coordinate with internal teams effectively.
- Familiarity with compliance processes, particularly in collaboration with corporate, legal, and finance departments will be preferred.
Job Description:
- Governance, Strategy & Planning, MIS & Compliance, Activities, Events, Collaborations & Outreach
- Raising of funds and securing donations from Alumni for CSR activities ( Alumni Organisations), infrastructure building ( Somaiya Education Institutions) and social developmental programes (initiated by Somaiya)
- Alumni Relationship management operations related to all SVU partners and institutions , all SAV and SVV institutions & Schools in future.
- High-quality executions of Activities and Events in collaboration with alumni associations, alumni coordinators, HOI’s , HOD’s, external partners and external institutions
- Successful teamwork with colleagues within Alumni Relations work group, particularly with Communications personnel, and external partners and vendors for:
-Effective communications planning and strategy
-Targeting of different Alumni segments for disseminating information
-Collaboration with external partners
