About the Conference

The International Finance Conference (SIFICO) has been organized by Centre of Excellence in Capital Markets along with Finance and Law Department of the K J Somaiya Institute of Management for last eleven years.

The Conference is currently in its 12^th edition and the theme is ‘Emerging Trends in Finance’. It aims at bringing together academicians, doctoral students,industry practitioners and researchers from academic, research and regulatory organizations to deliberate on theoretical work, empirical findings and policy implications related to the emerging trends in banking, financial markets and services.

The Conference will provide the participants an excellent opportunity to receive quality feedback on their research and networking and publishing.

This conference aims at focusing on the developing drifts in the global financial sector. The last two years of Covid 19 has changed many things and taught us toadapt quickly and prepare for new realties. These unprecedented disruptions also created unique opportunities for global markets including financial sector.Re- defining the concept of money, ongoing digital transformation, emergence of Fintech companies in banking and big tech companies in payments, the increasing role of Artificial Intelligence and robotics, Green Finance, Sustainable Finance are the few examples of emerging areas in finance. SIFICO 2023 aims to cover these issues and concerns that need insightful deliberations by the researchers.
