It gives me great pleasure to invite you to an online seminar taking place on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd August 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM IST.
This event is a collaborative effort between the K. J. Somaiya Institute of Dharma Studies and Professor Gabriel Martino, from the Institute of Philosophy at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and the Universidad del Salvador, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Together, we will explore some foundational concepts of Indian philosophy across its various schools (darśanas), while also engaging in comparative perspectives—particularly through the lens of Plotinus from Ancient Rome. The seminar will also highlight the pioneering work of Fr. Ismael Quiles, whose vision of intercultural dialogue sought to build enduring philosophical bridges between Argentina and Asia.
