Indian Chemical Council (ICC), the apex national body representing India’s USD 220 billion chemical and petrochemical sector, held the 19th Annual India Chemical Industry Outlook Conference & Exhibition held on March 11-12, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai. The conference served as a key convergence point for industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and global stakeholders.
The conference was attended by Mr Samir Somaiya, Chancellor, Somaiya Vidyavihar University and the Vice President of the Indian Chemical Council as well as Dr Achala Danait, Director & Dean, Center for Strategic Industry Partnerships (CSIP), Somaiya Vidyavihar University, and the Chairperson of the R&D Expert Committee of the Indian Chemical Council. We are pleased to share that Somaiya Vidyavihar University has recently become an Associate Member of ICC.
