In the middle of this pandemic, the KJSIEIT's COEPS cell has taken an initiative to organise an webinar on IMPORTANCE OF QUALITY OF SERVICE IN NETWORKING'.in association with   IWSA .

This lecture would be given by Mr. Alhad Apte who was a part of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) , National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO) and held important portfolios. He is known to be specialised in the fields of Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Supercomputing, Grid Computing are his areas of specialization.

This session would be lucrative to our all branches students as its basis will be on Providing sufficient Quality of Service (QoS) across IP networks which is becoming an increasingly important aspect of today's enterprise IT infrastructure. Not only is QoS necessary for voice and video streaming over the network, it's also an important factor in supporting the growing Internet of Things (IoT).

QoS controls and manages network resources by setting priorities for specific types of data on the network.

The students will be introduced to various factors affecting the quality of networking such as packet loss, bandwidth, mean opinion score.

This session would be useful to the students as it would bring in them the knowledge of technologies that work on a network. They will be aware of the fact that QoS allows the network to reserve capacity and serviceability for important applications or traffic.

This would surely serve the students to enhance their knowledge in this particular field.

I would also like to ask for a kind permission for this session to be conducted in the second week of September,2020.
