Dr. Soniya Shetty is Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology since 2004. After working in research and development of B12 fermentation at Wockhardt Ltd for about three years she joined the teaching profession in 2001.
Being in this profession enables her to fulfill both her interests of teaching and research. She has guided several postgraduate and undergraduate students for dissertations and for projects under Star DBT. She has attended and presented papers at many conferences and research meets and also guided students for paper presentations.
