I took up 'Teaching' as option when I was learning.

Physics and math’s both fascinated me in my Undergraduates.  I completed my post-graduation with Nuclear Physics as specialisation.  Then I wanted to continue my Research in the same area but along with teaching it was not possible.  So I decided to pursue my Ph.D. in another interest i.e. ‘Nonlinear optics’. I got a chance to work on joint project by TIFR mumbai and University of Pune during my Ph.D.  I had 4 publications in international journals.

Recently, I am trying to change research from experimental physics to Theoretical Physics.

In my teaching of 26 years in this college, I have taught various topics in UG or PG.

Apart from this I have created special interest in Computers.  In the initial days I used to Assemble PCs as an hobby.  When a topic – Interfacing of PC through parallel port was introduced in M.Sc., I picked up that opportunity and taught that subject (in practicals) for seven years.  I have command over languages like C,C++ languages.  Recently I have learnt Matlab and Python.  I have used all these languages to create simulations in various areas of Physics for my students.  I have always learning computational techniques and applying them clear their concepts, create simulations, solve problems, creates graphs, effective data analysis etc in all UG and PG students.
