Dr. Aniket Pawanoji has had an impressive and varied academic and professional journey, contributing significantly to both the field of chemistry and the broader community. He completed his M.Sc. degree from the University of Mumbai in 2007. Under the guidance of Professor B. H. Mehta, he pursued his Ph.D. at Mumbai University, earning his doctorate in 2011. During his Ph.D. program, he was awarded the UGC Junior Research Fellowship in Chemistry, which is a prestigious honour in recognition of his academic potential. Since 2015, Dr. Pawanoji has been a faculty member at K. J. Somaiya College of Science and Commerce, where he continues to inspire and mentor students. He currently supervises three Ph.D. students and one M.Sc. (by research) student, guiding them through their advanced research in chemistry. His primary areas of interest include drug analysis, material chemistry, coordination chemistry, Nano chemistry, and catalysis. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Pawanoji is passionate about science communication. He has produced and published over 80 educational YouTube videos on a variety of chemistry-related topics. Dr. Pawanoji has also expanded his expertise beyond the field of chemistry by pursuing LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) degree in the year 2024. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Pawanoji is enthusiastic about various sports, particularly Lawn Tennis and Cricket. He is a trained lawn tennis player and had competed at the national level in the Under-16 category. Additionally, Dr. Pawanoji  is an active member of the Somaiya Corporate Cricket squad.
