Namrata Dinesh Nagwekar - K J Somaiya College of Science and Commerce

Born and brought up in Mumbai, I completed my schooling from Swami Muktanand High School(Andheri) in 2002 with first class. I completed my higher secondary from D.G. Ruparel college in Arts with subjects like Mathematics, German Language, Psychology etc. Thereafter, moved to Ramnarain Ruia College to persue my graduation in Mathematics as specialisation but by the end of my second year, I realised that I have an inclination to the subject of Statistics and hence ended up doing my graduation in Statistics & Economics as major subjects. Further I did my post graduation in the subject of Statistics from Mumbai University.During my second year of M.A., I realised that my true calling as far as career is concerned is TEACHING only. Hence in 2009, started my career as a visiting lecturer to teach at S.Y.B.Sc.(I.T.) level the subject of L.D.M.S. Then worked as a lecturer in various colleges teaching at under graduate and post graduate level. Also having some experience of doing basic statistical analysis. From Nov,2015 joined K.J.SOMAIYA COLLEGE OF SCIENCE & COMMERCE as an Assistant Professor in Statistics.
