Dr. Sudha Gupta is faculty in the Department of Electronics Engineering K J Somaiya College of Engineering, Vidyavihar Mumbai, since January 2004. Currently, she also owns responsibility of Dean Students' Affairs KJSCE. She has completed BE ( Electronics Engineering) in the year 1993 from Govt. College of Engineering, Ujjain M.P., ME Electronics in 2001 & PhD in April 2017 from one of the prestigious technical institute -VJTI Mumbai. She carried her research work on Analysis and prediction of cascade failure in power transmission system. Her worked published in various Trans/journal such as IEEE Transaction of Industrial Electronics, Springer, Elsevier journal of electrical power & energy systems, and Inderscience. She has guided various BTech and MTech students in the area of analysis and predictive techniques in the area of Agriculture, medical, stock price and published various papers in national, international conferences and journals. She is working as a reviewer for Transactions/Journal and International conferences. She has submitted major and minor research proposals to various funding agencies. Dr Sudha Gupta has been an invited speaker at various international conferences held in Bangkok, Dubai & UAE. She has more than 23 years of UG/PG teaching experience. She has received KJSCE research & recognition award twice in the year 2014-16 and 2016-18 respectively. The best teacher award of Electronics engineering was given to her by EESA for the year 2009-10. She has worked as member board of studies University of Mumbai in electronics engineering for six years (September 2006 to November 2012) during her tenure she was involved in various committees of Mumbai University. She has organized various ISTE approved short-term training program and workshops. Her Area of Interest is Image processing, machine learning, communication network, IoT and Bio medical engineering. She is an active team member of KJSCE Biomedical Engineering & Technology incubation Centre which is working in collaboration of IIT Bombay. She has received KJSCE research funding to complete BETiC projects. One of her M tech project as s Guide “Design and implementation of Fundus camera for detection of Diabetic Retinopathy” has received SVU star innovation award 2019. Currently she is guiding various BTech, MTech and PhD students in the area of health care, Biotechnology, IOT, Image processing & Machine learning, and Antenna design.
