Smita Ramesh Sankhe - K J Somaiya School of Engineering

Dr. Smita Ramesh Sankhe, proud to serve as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering Department at K.J. Somaiya School of Engineering   a place  where curiosity meets opportunity and innovation thrives. My journey began as a software engineer, but my passion for learning and desire to share knowledge soon led me to the vibrant world of academia.

With over 18 years of experience in academia, I have enjoyed exploring and teaching core areas such as programming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, web programming, and data science. Along the way, I have authored more than 25 research publications, received two copyrights, and cherished every opportunity to make a difference in how we approach technology and knowledge.

What I value most is connecting with students, fellow educators, and industry professionals who share my enthusiasm for computer science. I believe true innovation springs from collaboration and the open exchange of ideas, and I strive to create an environment where everyone feels inspired to contribute and grow.
