Dr. Jitendra Satam is working as an Assistant Professor since 2nd January 2013 in chemistry.

 

Presently, he is holding Associate Head position in the Department of Science and Humanities.

 

He has completed his PhD. from ICT (Formerly UDCT). He is a graduate and postgraduate from K. J. Somaiya College of Science and Commerce.

He has four years of industrial experience, where he had worked on the synthesis of agrochemicals, pesticides. He has published 12 papers in international journals and paper presentations in 7 International conferences. He has also presented a paper at an International Conference held in Paris, France. He has also chaired a session at the conference in Kerala.

His thrust areas of research are Nanotechnology, Catalysis, Water treatment, and polymer synthesis for 3D printing applications.

He has a passion for teaching and research and hence selected it as a career. He has sound chemistry and chemical technology knowledge and has developed professional expertise in his chosen field.

He was IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) Co-coordinator of K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering. Currently, he is an Associate Head of Science and Humanities Department. He is also an approved Ph.D. Guide in Chemistry. 

Design Patent Granted: Antenna Based Carbon Dioxide Detector, Indian Design Patent, Application Number. 386665-001 issued on 17th August 2023.
