Vasudev retired as Vice President of Quality for Asia Pacific for Vertiv (Erstwhile Emerson Network Power) in 2020.

He worked in Emerson India group of companies for 23 years in various capacities including head of Quality, R & D and Product Development, Projects and IT Infrastructure Management.

He had several night jobs as head of training, HR and Ethics and Compliance from time to time while discharging his primary responsibilities

Vasudev has successfully reduced “Cost of Quality” by 80% and Parts Standardisation to the tune of 30 to 90% depending on commodity while in his role of Head of Quality and Head of Engineering.

Before Emerson he worked in Siemens and Honeywell.

Vasudev has global experience having worked in Germany, Japan, Netherlands, USA and China. German precision and Japanese discipline and Lean methodology has profound influence on him.

Vasudev is passionate about training and has its private practice of training, coaching and mentoring and is pursuing it as his Ikigai post retirement. He has recently joined k J Somaiya Institute of Management as adjunct professor of Operations Management.

Vasudev is Graduate from College of Engineering Pune, MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune and attended Leadership Development Program from University of Texas at Austin.
