Curriculum Vitae

Davendranath Jha earned his PhD (Management) from University of Mumbai (earlier University of Bombay). He is currently working as Professor Data Science and Technology (formerly Information Technology) at K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies - A Constituent Academic Institute under Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Vidyavihar, Mumbai, INDIA.  He is currently the chairperson for AACSB Accreditation team and has successfully mentored the B-School toward receiving the coveted AACSB Accreditation He is also currently the chairman of the Board of Studies in Data Science - responsible for bringing in changes in curriculum for the courses in Data Science, information Technology for Management and Technology Programs. He serves as the members of the Academic Advisory Board and Academic Council; He is also the coordinator of IQAC.

 

He has been regularly conducting training on Data Science, "R" Programming, IT in Management, Database system (MS-Access, SQL), Management Information System, Software Testing and Concepts in ERP, eCRM, Innovations in IT, Essentials of Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation at various Institutes and corporate as Invitee faculty/trainer. 

 

Professor Jha also has to his credit a publication of book titled "Computer Concepts and Management Information Systems" published by Prentice-Hall of India (PHI). Its’ revised second edition has hit the stands in March 2013. He has several publications to his credit. His research encompasses Data Driven Decision making, Design and Management of Information systems, Data Analytics and Digital Transformation
