Introduction

Dr. Priya Kataria is an educator, researcher, and consultant specializing in workplace inclusion, leadership, and social-emotional learning. She holds a Doctrate from Goa Institute of Management and Masters from Boston College and Mumbai University. Her research explores the evolving concept of the "ideal worker," gender dynamics, and the role of empathy in organizational culture. Dr. Priya is also working with the University of Notre Dame's Global Center for the Development of the Whole Child, leading designing and training initiatives for Project Sampoorna in Telangana, India. She has designed leadership programs, conducted faculty development workshops, and contributed to research that bridges psychology, management, and education.

Consultancy Projects

  • As a research consultant, at the Global Center for the Development of the Whole Child (GC-DWC), University of Notre Dame, Dr. Priya has designed and implemented evidence-based interventions to promote whole child development (WCD). Working on Project Sampoorna, I contributed to research design, intervention development, and capacity-building efforts. While her work so far has focused on embedding sustainable WCD practices within Telangana’s residential schools, she is now working on developing evidence for the Life Skills Collaborative, ensuring that life skills education is effectively integrated into the education system.

Achievements, Recognitions & Awards

  • I received the Best Paper Award at the 12th international Conference, Youth@2047: VIKSIT BHARAT, organized by Jaipuria institute of Management, Jaipur. My paper, "Redefining Ideal Worker Norms: Shaping industry 5.0 and Society 5.0," co-authored with Dr. Shelly Pandey, explored evolving workplace norms and the need for inclusive policies in industry 5.0.
