Dr. Sandhya D. Kadam has completed her BE and ME in Electronics Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli in 1999 and 2001 respectively. She has done her Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year 2019. She has worked as Cultural Coordinator, Green Club & Green Audit Coordinator and DLLE(Department of Life long Learning and Extension, University of Mumbai), Extension teacher at KJSIEIT, Sion Mumbai-22. She has published more than twenty papers at International/ National Conferences/ Journals and has complete patent publication on Cluster-based Big Data Storage. She has coordinated Annual Cultural Festivals "SURGE" since 2019. She has coordinated two-week ISTE-STTP on “Audio, Video and image data compression” for faculty members and one week internship programme on "Python Programming" for students and many more seminars, workshops, guest lectures and celebration of days at KJSIT, Sion Mumbai-22. She is a life member of ISTE, MIET and has worked as member of professional body, IEI (Institution of Engineers).She has developed and maintained Microprocessor Laboratory and worked as a Lab In Charge for more than four years and also developed Optical Fiber Communication and Signal Processing Lab. She has worked as convener for proctor committee at department and institute level. She has also worked as a Purchase in charge for the Department of Electronics Engineering for more than three years. She has coordinated undergraduate projects for more than three years. She has worked as NAAC and NBA Coordinator for the Department. She has involved in ATF(Admission Task Force) committee work and has also worked with many more committees at Institute as well as Department. She has guided various undergraduate projects from various areas as Image Processing, Communication, Data Science, Robotics, Fiber Optics, Microcontrollers and RFID Technology. She has taught various courses as Digital Logoc Design. Digital communication and Coding Techniques, Computer Organization, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Advanced Microprocessors, Optical fiber communication, Basics of Analog and Digital communication, Electronic Circuits and Communication Fundamentals, Computer Network, Telecom Network Management. Her area of interest is Image Processing, Data Science, Embedded and Communication Systems.
