Dr. Sunita Ravindra Patil is a Vice Principal and Professor, Dept of Computer Engg at K J Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology, Sion, Mumbai under University of Mumbai.

She is Member Board of Studies in Computer Engineering for University of Mumbail.  

She has done her Ph.D., ME, BE and Diploma in Computer Engineering with the specialization in the field of Data Mining & Data analytics.

She has total experience of  20+ years in Teaching & Administration in Engineering and Higher Education System. She is having the Expertise in Research Methodology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML ), Data Mining and allied disciplines of Computer Engineering.

She has filed a Permanent Complete Indian Patent and the same is published at Indian Patent Journal.

She is working on Major & Minor funding Research Proposals submitted to various funding agencies in India and abroad in the field of AI & IoT.

She has published various research papers across International, National Journals and conferences and visited few foreign universities for research collaborations and exchange of information.

She has Major Contributions & recognitions in Higher Education System by working at various University level bodies and Authorities.

She is the recipient of two awards as “The Best Patron & Mentor Academician” by the international professional body The Institution of Engineering and Technology (The IET).

In her capacity as Vice Principal of K J Somaiya Institute of Engineering and IT, institute has received various awards and accolades such as Best College, Best Engineering institute,autonomous status, accreditations by NAAC & NBA, NIRF, ARIIA rankings, AICTE-CII Ind Pact Survey awards, permanent affiliation, 2(f) and 12(B) status, introduction of new UG, PG branches and PhD center etc.Thus with her contributions and efforts institute is continuously reaching great heights in all aspects.
