Dr. Vijaya U.Pinjarkar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Information Technology Engineering, K. J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering & Information Technology, Mumbai, Maharashtra (affiliated to University of Mumbai). She is pursuing her Ph.D. from Sir Padampat Singhania University. Pursued M.E(Information Technology ) from Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology , Chembur , Mumbai University and B.E.(Information Technology ) from Amaravti University. Her areas of research include Information Security, Network Security and data mining. She has Guided more than 20 BE project group. Her Project group is selected for national level ISTE award. Her project group was selected for final round of “Avishkar, State level Project convention” , 2017-18. Her project group received institute level research grant. (Financial Year-2017-18). She has participated in several short-term training programs, workshops, and faculty development programs, national and international conferences. She was coordinator for Organizing orientation program for subject “Cryptography and Network Security” and “Security Lab” (Credite and Choice based) for Sem-VI, Information Technology at KJSIEIT. She was Member of Syllabus Revision committee for subject of “Cryptography and system security” and “Advanced Cryptography and system security” Mumbai University.

Co-coordinator for 1-week FDP on “Cyber Security in IoT Applications” from 2july 18 to 7 july 18. at KJSIEIT.
FDP successfully completed the “Moodle Test for Teachers” test organized at Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College with course material provided by the Spoken Tutorial Project, IIT Bombay. Passing an online exam, conducted remotely from IIT Bombay, is a pre-requisite for completing this training. This training is offered by the Spoken Tutorial Project, IIT Bombay, funded by National Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD, Govt., of india. date: 25th April-30th April 2020
