Myself Dr Nilesh D Wagh, currently I am associated with Somaiya Vidyavihar University Mumbai, working as Head of Environment Sciences. I have a total of 07 years’ experience in administrative level (In-charge Head / Second Head, /Administrative Officer in CAP / Member University Lab Recognition Committee/ Observer IGNOU, New Delhi/ Syllabus Framing Committee/ Chairman of PhD Viva -Voce Committee / Member IQAC University Core Committee etc.). Worked as a coordinator of M.Tech. Program for 09 years, in North Maharashtra University Jalgaon from 2008 - 2017. 

Apart from that, I have successfully completed 02 Research Projects (13 lakhs and 07 Consultancy Projects (34.00 Lakhs) and 02 research Students awarded Ph.D. and presently 04 research students are working under my supervision for their doctoral degree. I am also a member of the Board of Studies (BOS) in various state as well as private universities and autonomous colleges in Maharashtra.  I also served as a core committee member (09 years) of AVISHKAAR : A Research Festival conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra from 2007 to 2016 

I have published 28 research articles in high impact factor journals (Elsevier / Springer / American Chemical Society / SCOPUS etc.), in addition to this, I have published 01 Book, 05 Book Chapters, 02 News Articles & 01 Magazine Article. I have delivered, total of 25 Resource lectures on Sustainability as well as on research methodology. 

I am also reviewer of the Journal of Environmental & Chemical Engineering (Elsevier) and nominated in AJ Scientific Word Research Scientist List 2021. I also served as a member of Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Centre (RGSTC) at North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon

Dr Nilesh is PhD in Environment Impact Assessment, having 18+ years of teaching and 15+ years of research experience in the field of Environment and occupational health, environmental sustainability, and air pollution control technologies. He has published 32 research papers in national and international journals, 06 book chapters and a reviewer of Journal of Environment and Chemical Engineering (JECE, Elsevier. He was completed 09 research and consultancy projects and generated Rs. 50 lakhs research funding. He is also a member of various academic and research bodies in various colleges and Universities.
