  • Abstract

Pyrazino[2,?3-b]phenazine Amine derivatives with a donor-acceptor architecture are synthesized and studied. UV–Visible studies of all the compounds show broad range of intramolecular charge transfer transitions (ICT) up to 700 nm. The HOMO and LUMO energy levels found for these derivatives are comparable with ambipolar materials and thus promises the use of these derivatives as ambipolar materials in optoelectronic devices.
