"Predicting app ratings based on user reviews helps analyze the reception of the app amongst different users. Apps with high ratings tend to have a good public reception and as such have a higher number of downloads. Predicting app ratings is a task of vital importance as it provides an indication of how well the app will be received by people. The ratings of different apps were predicted using a transformer-based neural network called ELECTRA, which was trained on 597,268 user reviews. The model trained obtained an F1 score of 0.705, thus proving effective in predicting ratings of different iOS apps based on the reviews left by the users.
